The Nursing and Midwifery Department enjoyed a memorable team outing at the beautiful Kirstenbosch National Botanical Garden on a sunny day in 2026.

Staff spent the day exploring the stunning gardens, walking among indigenous plants, enjoying the breathtaking mountain views, and relaxing in one of Cape Town’s most iconic natural settings. The outing provided a perfect opportunity for team bonding, informal conversations, and a well-deserved break from the demands of academic and clinical responsibilities.

This refreshing day strengthened collegial relationships and boosted morale, reminding everyone of the importance of work-life balance and team spirit within the division.

Thank you to all who joined and helped make the departmental outing such a delightful success! 🌿🌸☀️
