In celebration of International Nurses Day 2025, observed annually on 12 May to honour the birth of Florence Nightingale and recognise the vital contributions of nurses worldwide, Dr Tania de Villiers joined nursing colleagues for a commemorative event.

The 2025 theme, Our Nurses. Our Future. Caring for nurses strengthens economies, emphasised the importance of investing in the health and wellbeing of the nursing workforce to build stronger, more resilient health systems globally.
