The Department of Anaesthesia and Perioperative Medicine has an active and growing research footprint, supporting postgraduate students and researchers across our clinical divisions.
The purpose of the Departmental Research Committee (DRC) is to support and promote research and training productivity at all levels — monitoring, guiding and facilitating departmental research activities, and ensuring alignment with Departmental and Faculty priorities, as well as compliance with Faculty procedures and ethics requirements.
The DRC is committed to supporting staff and students in conducting their research. Committee members have an interest and track record in research and are available to advise on all matters pertaining to research — from accessing funding and available resources, to navigating regulatory and ethics processes, and academic supervision.
