We greatly miss our beloved colleague and friend Tracy-Ann, who worked as a Clinical Educator within the CNDU from 2015 until she sadly passed away in January 2021. As a clinical educator, Tracy-Anne facilitated the learning of students registered for the Postgraduate Diploma in Child Nursing. Tracy-Ann was a registered paediatric nurse with a BCur (Nursing) Honours degree from the University of the Western Cape. She further specialised with a Post Graduate Diploma in Child Nursing from The University of Cape Town, and was awarded The Henrietta Stockdale Award. Tracy-Ann had extensive experience including working as a registered paediatric nurse at Mitchells Plain District hospital for over four years. She is missed by her many friends and colleagues not only in South Africa’s Western Cape Province, but many other African Countries.
