Clare Davis represented us at the UK Global Health Summit 2026 in London, presenting the 'Strengthening Paediatric Burns Care' project at the Royal College of Physicians.

Opening with a keynote from Dr Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, the Summit brought together 700 delegates from 22 countries - uniting government leaders, health professionals, academia, civil society, diaspora networks, and the private sector to shape more equitable, collaborative health systems worldwide.

Building on the momentum of the 2025 UK–Africa Health Summit, the programme spotlighted impactful partnerships driving systemic change, celebrated diaspora leadership, and set out a renewed vision for a globally engaged UK health system rooted in equity, innovation, and collaboration.

We’re proud that our work was featured as one of these impactful partnerships. Clare’s presentation - “Designing with a sustainability mindset: A contextually relevant training programme to strengthen paediatric burns care in the Western Cape, South Africa” - reflects our commitment to strengthening care where it’s needed most.

We're proud to be part of conversations driving meaningful, lasting change.
