Ms Kutloano Skhosana

Kutloano is a PhD Fellow with the Collaboration for Harm Reduction and Alcohol Safety in the Environment in Southern Africa (CHASE-SA) project at the University of Cape Town. Her doctoral research focuses on the differential impact of alcohol control policies across demographic subgroups in South Africa using Bayesian statistical modelling and advanced quantitative methods.
She holds a Master of Arts degree in Health Demography, an Honours degree in Demography and Population Studies, as well as a Postgraduate Diploma in Data Science – all from the University of the Witwatersrand. Her research interests include public health, alcohol policy, HIV/AIDS, social determinants of health, and quantitative methods for population and social policy research. Her work has involved survey-weighted analysis, statistical modelling, data management, and the production of policy-relevant research outputs.
